Regulatory Approvals
Triosyn® T50, U.S. EPA Registration No. 72897-1
Triosyn® T50 is an iodinated resin that is intended for
formulating end-use microbiological water purification
systems to treat water for drinking water purposes. This
product is also intended for reformulating or
repackaging into end use products intended for use as an
iodinator, water disinfectant or for use in
recirculating cooling water systems.
Triosyn® T50 Powder, U.S. EPA Registration No. 72897-2
When incorporated into the manufacturing process,
Triosyn® T50 powder provides built-in antimicrobial
activity in a variety of materials and finished
products. Triosyn® T50 Powder is registered for use as
an additive during the manufacturing process for the
following materials/applications: paints, stains, and
other coating systems, including enamel urethanes, wood
stains, and alkyd epoxy enamels, for use on exterior
surfaces; synthetic and non-woven textile materials for
use in aquarium filters, vacuum bags and filters, air
filters/materials, door and floor mats, and outdoor
equipment such as awnings, tarpaulins, and portable
outdoor shelters.
Triosyn T50-I™ Filter, U.S. EPA Registration No. 72897-3
The Triosyn T50-I™ Filter aids in the control of
bacteria and slime in open recirculating cooling water
systems associated with industrial processes. The T50-I™
Filter is not affected by pH values, dissolved mineral
levels, or temperatures commonly found in open
recirculating cooling water systems that cool industrial
processes. The control of bacteria and slime is achieved
by periodically passing fluids from the recirculating
cooling water system through the Triosyn T50-I™ Filter,
which contains an iodinated resin. The iodinated resin
effectively controls the growth of microorganisms in the
fluid.
